Smallholder farmers grow most of Nigeria's food, yet many of their own families go hungry between planting and harvest. Poor seed, unpredictable rains and middlemen who buy cheap at harvest all take their share.
We organise farmers into clusters of 25, lend them improved seed, fertiliser and shared equipment, and train them in climate-smart practices such as mulching, drip irrigation and crop rotation. Before the season starts, each cluster signs an offtake agreement with a processor, so they plant knowing the price.
Our 12 aggregation hubs store and grade produce, cutting post-harvest losses and letting farmers sell when prices recover instead of the week they harvest.
