Our initiatives
Four pathways out of poverty
Enterprise, health, farming and skills: the four things that most often decide whether a Nigerian family stays poor. Each programme has its own page, budget and audited results.

How we start
How a community joins a programme
-
01
An invitation
Traditional rulers, a ward councillor or a residents' association asks us in. We never arrive uninvited.
-
02
Six weeks of listening
Field officers who speak the local language run household surveys and open meetings to learn what keeps families poor.
-
03
A plan made together
A community committee chooses the programmes, agrees the selection criteria and signs a public commitment with us.
-
04
A hand-over date
Every programme has an exit plan. After three to five years local groups run it, and we keep measuring for three more.
