Nigeria's median age is about 18. Millions of bright young people finish secondary school with no route into work, while companies in Lagos, Abuja and abroad struggle to hire people with digital skills.
Our 14 community tech hubs run free 16-week bootcamps in data, design, software support and digital marketing, with evening classes for learners who work in the day. Every learner gets a laptop on loan, a monthly data bundle and a mentor from our volunteer network.
In the last month of the course each learner completes a paid placement with a partner business, and our careers team keeps working with graduates until they are earning.
